OPEC + meeting this week with energy prices squeezing higher globally. Increased tension expected between the US and China as the US reviews how well China has kept phase 1 of the trade agreement and looks to outline future policy. Tension with Taiwan also rising and it appears to me that more countries are coming out in support of Taiwan which along with Evergrande will keep the leadership in Beijing busy.
Australia Data this week includes PMI, Balance of trade, Inflation, RBA rate decision, Building Permits and RBA Stability Review.
Japan  This week CPI data, PMI data, Foreign Reserves, Coincident and Leading Index, Cash Earnings, Household Spending and Eco Watchers. Investors will be looking for clarity over policy from new PM Kishida; this week’s Economist is slightly -VE on his appointment as an example of the establishments choice over the peoples.
S Korea Ahead Foreign Exchange Reserves, Inflation Rate and Current Account.
Taiwan  This week Foreign Exchange Reserves, Inflation Rate, Wholesale Prices, Balance of Trade data.
China Market closed until Friday. Investors will watch for policy announcements we also get Foreign Exchange Reserves and on Friday Caixin Services & Composite PMI.
